Question for those with a Myspace profile.?

I'm considering starting a Myspace profile for a few friends, but I'm unfamiliar with how it actually works. I've also heard that there's a lot of psycho killers/rapists that lurk around every corner there.

The most important question: I don't have an Ipod or anything. If I wanted to put some music on my profile, how would that be accomplished?

You just go to the person or band profile and add the music from their profile to yours. For example I want som Fall Out Boys songs, I go to their profile and got to their music list and click add to profile, and its their in my profil!!!

Well if you want to make a myspace page all you have to do is really simple. On the home page after you sign up you go to edit profile. There are certain sites that will give you layouts (backgrounds and graphics). You can search for these on google or whatever. Any way when you go to one of those sites all you have to do is copy the code in the About Me section. To add music to your page all I would recommend going to www.projectplaylist.com. You don't need an iPod to add music. Anyway set up an account here. It is totally free. The best part about this site is that it adds the music to your myspace automatically. O.K. about the killers and whatnot. You can set your profile to private which means that only your friends can view your profile. But if you dont want to set your profile to private all you have to do is be careful to not give out any personal information and dont meet anyone in person unless you go to a public place.

When you go to myspace there are some links at the top, just click on the link that says music and you can search for bands and singers and after you find them and go to there profile go to there music player and add a song that you like! hope it wasn't to confusing and also there are safety settings that you can set up when you start a Myspace profile or at anytime so only your friends can view your profile so you won't have to worry about an psychos! hope this helps!!

You don't need an ipod to put a profile song on myspace. All you do is click music and search for the band you want as a profile song....Myspace isn't 100% safe, if you don't put personal information on your profile and set it to private....

About the criminals in myspace, just be careful with what info. you share in myspace. About the music, you don't need anything to put it up on your page. Myspace has a music section where you can find music for your profile.

Just click on the music tab at the top of the page, and you can search or browse through the different artists. Once you are on an artists page just click the add button beside of the song you want to add. The songs are visible in the player, which is usually on the top right of the page.

on myspace, you can send a friend a 'message' that only he/she can read (similar to email), a 'comment' that is displayed on there profile that anyone can read, or you can post a bulletin that is sent to everyone on your friends list.

P.S. When you want to add a song you go to myspace.com. Then you click on the MUSIC link on the top of the page. When you reach the music page simply type the name of the band that you want in the search box. Click on the band's name when it pops up. When you are on the bands profile they will have music playing in a box. Next to each song there is a button that says "ADD". Click on that. It will bring you to another page asking if you are sure that you want to add the song. Click yes and your done!

It's really easy!! Once you make your profile there is a little toolbar on the top and one of the options is music. You click on it and it brings you to a page where you can search for just about any song you want. eh there are a few stalkerish people out there. but you can make your profile private so nobody can see your information and you have the decision to add people or not.

OK its easy to work from what my cousin has told me. you can have your profile private or change it to public if you want. and for music you can go to music on myspace or you can find websites that have playlists. like myprojectplaylist.com has 75 songs free then you get the code and paste it on your music section on myspace ,but on myspace music you can only have one song so they playlists are better i think.

I don't use my ipod to put music on my page. Just go to music.. download the player and then pick the song you want. You are in charge of who you talk and interact with. If I run into somebody creepy or perverted... i block them and that's that. Other than that it's a great place to meet ppl... I just don't recommend meeting up with them.

go to videocodezone.com type in the song or artist you want, click on it, copy the code then go to your myspace profile click edit profile then in one of the boxes (for ex. the music you like or 'about me' section) paste the code you copied there.then click save! then go to your homepage and listen for it to see if it worked
