How often do you get random Myspace friend requests, and what do you do with them?

K, I joined myspace like a week ago because I wanted to keep in touch with some old friends and family members ... I wanted my profile to be pretty private, but out of the sudden I'm getting like 5-10 friends requests a day from completely random people I've never met in my life. I don't know how they even found me.

Where do these people come from anyway? Do you accept them? I really don't care about making my friends list huge with random people I don't know but then again I don't want to be rude?

I would say don't worry about being rude. These people are obviously just trying to make their list bigger and they're never going to message you! Except maybe for S*E*X and you don't want that in your life, now do you?

I usually accept them, If they are not more than 3 years older then me. That's what myspace is for, meeting new people. Sometimes there are virus ones but I deny them and I have never had my myspace hacked because I am not stupid enough.

Reject ones you don't know.

Because most of them are phishers. Which means fake Myspace Profiles trying to hack your Computer or Myspace. Or they are singles looking to date. I wouldn't accept anyone I didn't know.

With MySpace and later facebook, i in my opinion in trouble-free terms had to community with friends or friends, human beings I had met. I nonetheless am very selective on those debts. i hit upon it very awkward if somebody needs to stick to me on Twitter in the event that they don't be attentive to who i'm, yet I enable them to, because of fact them following me does not propose I ought to stick to them. that's the customary rule. whilst they depart a message on my wall... it relies upon on what they are asserting yet i'm oftentimes vulnerable to get rid of it. those buddy requests are disregarded. in the event that they deliver me a message, lower back, if i be attentive to the guy I write lower back or regardless of, yet whilst i don't be attentive to them, i'm sorry, I forget approximately them. I infrequently get messages from random human beings in my inbox and regardless of in the event that they have been my style i do no longer want them now. i'm no longer the fashion of guy or woman who might shop them for later... because of fact i might quite anticipate there is not any want for a later and finally end up on my own than actually have a backup record I will never use yet experience very tempted to.
