when i go on to some profiles on myspace, it takes forever to load...but....?

when i go on someone else's computer their profiles come up fast? does anyone know why this is? i have windows vista and so does my friend and the profiles that dont load on my computer load fast on his...why???

Sometimes the speed of the computer makes a difference, or connection speed. Also it could have to do with the browser. The myspace profiles take forever to load because people are editing the script, and adding hundreds of movies. This takes a lot of code, and a lot of processing power for the computer to lay out all of the page.

Your computer is just getting a little slower, you might want to try to just run that page and make sure you don't have a lot of other things going too. Also, it could just be the internet connection. Or maybe you're not letting your computer warm up a little when you turn it on. If you rush it through things it will make your computer slower. Another thing that could be making it slow is your virus protector or spy ware protector.

i am still in the dinosaur net days as i am on dial up. the connection is slower and it takes a while to load the profiles that have a lot of stuff on them. its really frustrating sometimes but that is just how it goes sometimes. at least now if you want to leave a comment to someone with a large profile you don't have to load their whole page anymore...you can just view your own comments and click on comment back! good luck!

try utilising Macromedia Flash. Import your music and then export it as Flash (with an 'swf' extension). the best element is, your report length are smaller (regular length mp3 could be decreased to easily 400kb). The 'swf' report that's suggested 'swiff' ought to flow and play nicely. it is going to do good if accompanied by utilising some lines of ActionScript.

it depends on what the person myspace if there is a lot of things like music pictures...etc i takes a while for it to load. go find out you will see the difference.
