How can I unlock a zip file that has a password, without knowing the password?

I downloaded a program and to get the password you have to do one of those "complete one of the listed actions" and then for example "register to this site, lose fat easily" etc these stupid things. So these usually don't work for me but this time when i click a link it loads the link and then jumps to bing for some reason so I can't even try. I managed to peek inside the zip, so I know theres a program installation file in there and instructions, but this way i could only see the names of the files inside and the file types, but all were 0 kb. So now I know that the installtion file is actually in there I just somehow need to crack the zip. I tried programs but none of them worked. not that they couldn't crack the file, i couldn't get them to work. for some you have to pay, some were suupper complicated and I didn't understand anything and couldn't find a tutorial. So now im here asking if someone has a working metod of opening a locked zip. Someone? Please?

You can't. That's why the zipped file has a password. If you could actually open the file by the methods you want to try, and they worked, what good would a password do in the first place.

Look into rainbow tables. Some release groups encrypt their files for some reason. Why not just ask them for the password instead of trying to crack the safe? Yeah just ask them.

Well you are wasting your time with that.



The program is most likely useless and when you open it, it will tell you that you need to update it. To update, you need to do another stupid survey. You're only making money for the uploader and wasting your time and sanity on that.

Maybe I shouldn't tell you but...

I once successfully completed one of those listed actions and got the password. And didn't get the file to unlock. I then discovered essentially the same password when I looked at the source code (ctl-u in firefox which I used and use) for the web page. So I don't recommend downloading those things if you can avoid it and I don't think it will work even if you have the password - but the password is on the source code for the page.

You can't. What good would a password be if you could easily bypass it? Think before you post.

The file must have been encrypted for a good reason. If we showed any method of cracking a password protected file on a public forum any hacker would think Christmas came early
