why is it when i view videos on line i have vision but no sound, please help?

1. Check your computer's volume settings to ensure your PC volume is active and high enough.

2. Check updates for the players you use. RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, DIVX player etc. all need periodic updates or upgrades to a higher version number. Usually the update link is available in the "help" menu.

3. You may need an update on your flash player. If the video involves flash, go to the relevant website and update that too.

4. Check that your sound card does not need updating. If you are using an old computer, then your components on your PC may be out-of-date.

check if its on mute, or maybe the volume on your computer or website is low! thats what happens to me sometimes!
