myspace photo upload--- inexplicable error message?

Question

When trying to upload photos this is the error message I keep getting:
"A file you selected is not supported and was automatically removed"
OK-
YES: I have read the help section.
Yes the photos are in JPEG format, they are smaller than 1gig, the titles aren't large or 'wonky'--- IRfranView won't work with my MAC. I have never had this problem in the past.
The only difference between the photos that I CAN upload and the new ones is that I am using a different camera than before...(Canon powershot A540)...
Any suggestions?

I too am on a Mac and it seems I can upload photos straight from my camera but not once I edit them in Photoshop. What a rip! Hopefully someone can come up with a solution.

Well, this is not a extension problem, this is a write code problem from myspace. Maybe the problem will be on the size of the picture, have you check it? if its the problem try to download a windows xp power toys, there is one which allow you to resize a picture with just a single right click of your mouse..... Hope so it can help you

Yes, I have the same problem, and I have a mac. I downsized the photo to 300x400 which is within the size limits, I've tried everything. Getting very frustrated. Mac users please help...!

i have the same problem, same computer, similar camera (A520).
